Job Summary

The Major Market Sales Executive, Upmarket is a seasoned sales professional responsible for identifying and acquiring new clients with 250+ employees. This role requires a deep understanding of complex sales processes and the ability to consult with potential clients to determine the optimal solutions to solve their business challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify potential clients in the higher employee band and more complex end of the midmarket space through prospecting and referrals.
  • Consult with potential clients to determine the optimal solutions to solve business challenges and accommodate specific business needs.
  • Present Paycor products and services to potential clients in person and by phone.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with assigned referral sources.
  • Own individual accurate monthly and quarterly forecast.
  • Analyze current practices of potential clients and identify additional sales opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed agreed upon sales activity and sales targets.
Requirements
  • 3-6 years' experience in consultative, B2B sales with a proven track record of success.
  • Able to excel in a fast-paced work environment without direct daily supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • 4-year business degree.

We also offer competitive compensation determined by each individual's relevant experience, skills, and education. We anticipate the base pay for this position to be between $80,000- $130,000. In addition to base pay, Paycor Associates are eligible for either a performance-based annual bonus or commission, depending on their position.
