Position Summary

Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, the Lead Software Architect will be instrumental in the design, development, and maintenance of The Connected World platform, employing the latest development technologies. This role involves adhering to best practices and employing independent problem-solving skills to support and expand our product offerings. Responsibilities include analyzing and developing system requirements, programming specifications, and conducting code/unit testing with minimal supervision to fulfill business needs and specifications for substantial projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain TCW solutions.
  • Engage in software code development, including writing source code, developing databases, and creating user interfaces.
  • Code, test, debug, document, implement, and sustain software applications in accordance with SDLC standards.
  • Apply technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques pertinent to software development in alignment with user and company software requirements and procedures.
  • Assess the design and architecture of proposed systems to evaluate the feasibility of new applications and their business impacts on existing systems.
  • Articulate transitional views to illustrate the progression from current to future states.
  • Align business vision, strategy, and objectives with system requirements.
  • Lead and/or assist in the implementation of intricate designs.
  • Mentor and develop less experienced developers.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Over 12 years of experience in designing and delivering high-quality code in a production environment.
  • Proficient in Object-Oriented Programming (abstraction & encapsulation).
  • Experience in creating, maintaining, and utilizing web services.
  • Familiarity with JSON, Serialization, and MVC.
  • Ability to use logging frameworks to generate meaningful logs at all levels (DEBUG, INFO, WARN, and ERROR).
  • Experience with GitHub in a collaborative environment, including pull requests and review processes.
  • Proficient in using a ticketing system (Jira) for task distribution, measurement, and teamwork.
  • Familiarity with Test Driven Development practices to ensure code quality.
  • Experience in enforcing and adhering to CI/CD practices with pipelines.
  • Ability to deliver comprehensive documentation such as README files, Solution Designs, and accompanying diagrams.
  • Direct experience with modern web technologies (REST, HTML5/CSS/JavaScript), Angular, and similar frameworks; web server technologies; SQL database technologies.
  • Extensive knowledge of reference architecture, technology standards, and development frameworks.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience collaborating with distributed and offshore teams.
  • Direct experience in the telecommunications sector.

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive base salary commensurate with your experience and qualifications, along with an excellent opportunity for professional growth and career advancement within a rapidly growing SaaS company. The base salary ranges from $150,000 to $180,000, plus bonuses.
