Key Responsibilities

As a Rigger, your primary duty will be to safely and effectively maneuver heavy machinery and equipment at construction sites. Your proficiency in rigging methods and equipment operation will be crucial for the successful execution of our projects.

Specific Duties Include:

  • Executing rigging operations to transport and position heavy machinery and equipment.
  • Assessing and inspecting materials and equipment to ensure safe rigging practices.
  • Setting up and dismantling rigging apparatus, including cranes, hoists, and cables.
  • Securing loads using appropriate rigging techniques to guarantee stability and safety.
  • Collaborating with the construction team to strategize and coordinate rigging tasks.
  • Maintaining effective communication with team members to ensure smooth operations and safety.
  • Adhering to all safety regulations and protocols to minimize hazards and accidents.
  • Conducting maintenance and inspections of rigging equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Diagnosing and resolving any rigging-related challenges that may occur during operations.
  • Completing necessary documentation and reports pertaining to rigging activities.

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • At least 1 year of experience as a Rigger in a construction or industrial environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of rigging techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
  • Skilled in operating rigging machinery, including cranes, hoists, and forklifts.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications.
  • Physical capability to lift heavy objects and work in demanding conditions.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Attention to detail with a strong focus on safety.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
