About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Assistance Specialist to join our team at Toyota Financial Services. As a key member of our Customer Assistance Team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring timely resolution of account issues, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze payment history and communicate account status to customers using established guidelines.
  • Document all activities in accordance with procedures, utilizing appropriate systems and forms.
  • Analyze account characteristics and negotiate with customers to bring accounts current or recommend suitable solutions.
  • Utilize collection and skip tracing tools to maintain delinquencies, repossessions, and losses at or below corporate objectives.
  • Report and refer sensitive and complex issues to the Customer Assistance Supervisor.
  • Complete non-phone-based projects and account maintenance/remediation efforts.
  • Make critical decisions when assigning accounts for repossession.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptability and coachability to work through complex changes/situations.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • College degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous collections experience.
