Primary Care Physician Assistant

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Primary Care team at Emory at Mountain Park in Lilburn.
As a member of our team, you will be part of a collaborative patient-provider partnership, working together to achieve patient health goals.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of specific Primary Care experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, with a proven track record of managing patient panels and running independent clinics.
Our Primary Care APPs are an integral part of the Emory Healthcare Integrated Academic Health Care System, and we offer a supportive and engaged community-based practice environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient interviews and document patient histories, psychosocial histories, health status, and medical problems or potential problems.
- Perform physical examinations and specialized diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures, including cast application and removal, wound suturing, and dressing changes.
- Assist physicians in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatment.
- Document the delivery of care in individual medical records.
Requirements:
- Currently licensed as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia by the Georgia Board of Nursing and certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or equivalent body.
- Or certified as a Physician's Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
