At Radiology Associates of Hartford PC, we are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to join our team. As an X-Ray Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized x-ray and radiographic procedures and examinations for radiological diagnosis.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately interpret physician's scanning instructions and routine procedural protocols.
Administer contrast materials, prepare, and operate X-ray equipment, associated software, devices, and position patients to capture appropriate images.
Maintain communication with radiologists, patients, and their families, and other people.
Document patient-related information in radiology information systems in a timely manner based on patient and radiologist workflow.
Requirements:
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), X-ray certification required within 12 months of employment.
Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (RTR). Connecticut Radiographer License.
Two years of x-ray technologist experience.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
