Job Summary

Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Radiology Associates of Hartford PC. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized x-ray and radiographic procedures and examinations for radiological diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and specialized x-ray and radiographic procedures and examinations for radiological diagnosis.
  • Accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions and administer contrast materials.
  • Maintain communication with radiologists and other physicians, patients, and their families.
  • Document all patient-related information in a timely manner.
  • Perform quality control and reporting tasks, setting up and conducting X-ray procedures.

Requirements

  • Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (RTR).
  • Connecticut Radiographer License.
  • Two years of x-ray technologist experience.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
