Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the General Manager to oversee the entire operation and management of the club, ensuring a positive member experience, teamwork, and operational excellence.
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the club's operation in the absence of the General Manager, ensuring that the work shift contributes to the financial best interests of the club.
  • Recruit, hire, and train staff to ensure that the club is fully staffed at all times.
  • Ensure excellence in customer service by consistently creating a welcoming environment for members, greeting and assisting, and responding to member inquiries and needs.
Requirements
  • Supervisor/team lead experience required, with fitness, retail, or management experience strongly preferred.
  • Associate's degree in Exercise Science, Business, Kinesiology, or a similar degree, or a combination of experience and education preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Continual standing and walking during the shift.
  • Continual talking to members and potential members in person and on the phone during the shift.
  • Must be able to lift 45 pounds.
