Athletic Trainer Instructor

Foothill-De Anza Community College District is seeking a part-time athletic trainer instructor to join our team. As a part-time faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching athletic training courses and serving as a trainer for intercollegiate and pre-season team sports.
Responsibilities:- Teach athletic training courses and develop curriculum to meet the needs of our students.
- Provide training and support to student-athletes, including injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation.
- Develop and implement training programs for student-athletes, including strength and conditioning exercises.
- Collaborate with other faculty and staff to ensure a comprehensive athletic training program.
- Participate in the assessment of student learning and program evaluation.
- Master's degree in athletic training or a related field.
- Current certification as an athletic trainer (ATC) or eligibility for certification.
- Experience teaching athletic training courses and working with student-athletes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
The athletic trainer instructor will work in a fast-paced environment, providing training and support to student-athletes. The position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Salary and Benefits:The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. The position also includes a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as retirement savings plan.
