Position SummaryWe are seeking an enthusiastic Ice Cream Server who thrives in a welcoming environment and is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service. If you are passionate about creating memorable experiences for guests and enjoy working alongside a team that values both fun and professionalism, this role is for you. You should be motivated by positive interactions and eager to contribute to a collaborative team culture while exploring your career potential.
Availability: Must be available for a minimum of 3 shifts weekly throughout the fall and winter seasons. Morning availability during weekdays is essential.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome customers warmly to ensure they feel at ease.
- Process customer orders and manage cash and credit transactions efficiently.
- Adhere to operational policies and procedures, particularly regarding cash handling and safety protocols, to maintain a secure environment for all team members.
- Exhibit thorough knowledge of the brand and menu offerings.
- Serve menu items promptly and courteously to customers.
- Prepare menu items, including ice cream, shakes, cakes, and ice cream sandwiches, with accuracy and speed.
- Monitor quality and temperature of products throughout the day to uphold Sweet Cow's standards.
- Follow sanitation and safety guidelines, including proper knife handling and equipment use.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shop, ensuring proper setup and breakdown of all areas, including queues, restrooms, and preparation zones.
- Address customer concerns and complaints effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to prepare the shop for each shift.
- Act with integrity and knowledge that fosters the Sweet Cow culture.
- Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Contribute positively to the team environment.
- Exceptional customer service skills are essential.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
- Team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and strong work ethic.
- Effective communication skills with both customers and team members.
- Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Availability for a minimum of 3 shifts weekly during fall and winter is required.
- Previous experience in the service industry is preferred.
