Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Server to join our team at Holiday Inn Louisville Airport - Fair/Expo. As a Restaurant Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take food and beverage orders and accurately process them through our point of service system.
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction by being attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about our menu offerings.
  • Set and clear tables in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
  • Stock service stations with necessary supplies, such as ice, napkins, and straws.
  • Pick up orders from food preparation areas and ensure they are prepared according to our high standards.
  • Prepare guest checks and process payments in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Perform other food and beverage functions, such as bartending and bussing, as needed to ensure seamless service.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction scores and work towards increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
  • Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to our EarthView program.
  • Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment, and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous food and beverage experience required or equivalent training.
  • Knowledge of POS systems.
  • TIPS certification preferred.

Work Environment

  • Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays and weekends, as well as alternate shifts.
  • Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, and reaching.
