Program Details:

The Kayenne Program is focused on establishing and maintaining a secure, hybrid environment that supports critical defense initiatives, while also developing and integrating robust software applications.

If you are enthusiastic about contributing to a DevSecOps Program that combines development and operational support for vital missions, this role may be ideal for you.

Key Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will engage in various asset management and procurement activities, including:
  1. Conducting asset inventories and managing property turn-in (PTI) processes.
  2. Coordinating shipping of assets and generating Bills of Materials through collaboration with engineering teams.
  3. Understanding financial implications and the effects of changes in requirements on Global Supply Chain Management decisions.

Effective cross-program coordination is essential for maintaining operations. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Lockheed Martin's Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) to ensure timely execution of material requirements, aligning with the program Engineering Team's deadlines.

Communication:

Strong communication skills are vital for facilitating scrums, addressing roadblocks, and swiftly resolving issues.

Qualifications:

To qualify for this position, candidates should possess:
  • Experience in hardware/software procurement and associated costing.
  • Proficiency in asset tracking, including shipping and disposal of assets.
  • Advanced skills in spreadsheet manipulation (e.g., pivot tables, lookup functions).
  • An active DoD TS/SCI clearance, with a willingness to maintain a TS/SCI with polygraph.

Preferred Skills:

Additional skills that would be beneficial include:
  • Experience working with Defense Courier Services (DCS) for asset shipping.
  • Collaboration with GSCM teams to address challenges in cost, reliability, and affordability.
  • Strong business communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with Procure to Pay (P2P) applications.
  • Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 45.
  • Ability to interpret FAR and related standards concerning property management and cost accounting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.

Security Clearance Requirement:

This position necessitates a government security clearance; candidates must be U.S. citizens to be considered.

Work Environment:

This role will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Lockheed Martin offers a variety of flexible work schedules to accommodate employees' needs, including standard and condensed workweeks.
