Job Title: Lead Caregiver

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Lead Caregiver to join our team. As a Lead Caregiver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care and services are provided to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide supervisory support to Care Managers, ensuring attendance, managing call-offs, and sending open shift messages.
  • Support team members in providing Activities of Daily Living (ADL) care and services, including bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
  • Encourage personalized and meaningful resident participation in life enrichment programming and ADLs.
  • Assist with meal service, coaching team members on hospitality standards.
  • Accurately document care and services provided, reviewing care manager documentation throughout the shift.
  • Ensure compliance with Sunrise's Timekeeping and Meal/Rest Period policies.
  • Display flexibility in work schedule, working holidays, evenings, weekends, and additional shifts as needed.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with Care Managers, Community Managers, residents, and family members.
  • Medication Management Certificate required.
  • Previous experience working with seniors and a desire to serve and care for seniors.
  • Demonstrates leadership competencies, including delegation, decision-making, and problem-solving.
