Caregiver for Seniors

Job Summary:We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at TerraBella Northridge. As a Caregiver, you will provide hands-on care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being in a safe and comfortable environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide individualized care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, medication management, and mobility.
- Observe and report changes in resident condition, including skin, behavior, alertness, weight, dietary, and participation in activities.
- Respond promptly to security system and resident call bells.
- Notify supervisor and/or Health Care Coordinator of resident care needs.
- Assist with continence management and maintain cleanliness of resident suites and community restrooms.
- Serve and collect food trays, and report meal refusals or loss of appetite.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Practice good standard care precautions, including cleanliness, hygiene, and health.
- Help residents maintain independence, promote dignity, and physical safety.
- Participate in and lead activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, and eating.
- Engage residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, guests, family members, residents, vendors, and team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
- Certified Nurse's Aid certification preferred.
- High School diploma/GED.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
