Job Title: Registered Dietitian 2

Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian 2 to join our team at Montcare Potomac, a nationally-recognized skilled nursing and rehab center located in Potomac, Maryland. As a Registered Dietitian 2, you will be responsible for providing nutritional care to long-term care residents and sub-acute rehab patients, working with a full-time RD to meet DOH/state/federal and company standards, and being an active member of the interdisciplinary care conferences.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with a full-time RD to provide nutritional care to long-term care residents and sub-acute rehab patients
  • Meet DOH/state/federal and company standards
  • Be an active member of the interdisciplinary care conferences
  • Represent the Food & Nutrition Department as a liaison with the medical and nursing staff
  • Support the food service operation as needed
Requirements:
  • Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
  • Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire
  • Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
