We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at Sodexo, a leading provider of food and nutrition services. As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a critical role in providing nutritional care to our residents and patients in a skilled nursing and rehab center.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with a full-time Registered Dietitian to provide nutritional care to long-term care residents and sub-acute rehab patients.
- Meet Department of Health, state, and federal standards, as well as company requirements.
- Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences and represent the Food & Nutrition Department as a liaison with medical and nursing staff.
- Support the food service operation as needed.
- Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
- Eligibility for registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
- Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
- Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
- 1 year work experience in healthcare, including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics.
