Job Summary

BURNCO LLC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Plant Helper. This role is responsible for providing support to our plant operations team, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in routine tasks such as shoveling gravel, dust control, and yard clean up.
  • Support equipment operators as needed, including operating equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Utilize hand tools to complete daily job requirements.
  • Work with team members to complete operational priorities and cross-train in other job positions as needed.
  • Help maintain a hazard-free work environment by assisting in housekeeping and maintenance duties.
  • Identify safety hazards, maintenance needs, and review completed repairs.
  • Complete required paperwork and escalate operational issues to the Foreman.
  • Follow all safety policies, including MSHA and company regulations.
Requirements
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and shovels.
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively in small teams.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in the aggregate industry and welding a plus.
  • Experience operating heavy machinery in a plant environment a plus.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Compensation

$21.00/hr and up.
