Position: Direct Support Professional

As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and individualized support to our clients. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of essential tasks, ensuring their well-being and fostering their independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping, and laundry.
  • Administer medication as prescribed and monitor client health and well-being.
  • Implement individualized support plans (IPs) tailored to each client's unique needs and goals.
  • Facilitate social engagement and recreational activities to promote a sense of community and belonging.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to client care and progress.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; relevant experience is highly valued.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is essential for effective communication with our clients.
