Key Responsibilities:
As a Taxation Executive / Senior Tax Strategy Manager, your primary duties will encompass:
1. Managing all aspects of tax planning and compliance, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
2. Offering strategic tax guidance to high net worth and ultra high net worth clients, optimizing their financial strategies.
3. Reviewing engagement documentation and tax returns for high net worth clients, including Estate, S-Corp, Gift, Trust, and Partnership returns.
4. Collaborating with financial team members to devise and implement tax strategies that align with overarching business objectives.
5. Keeping abreast of the latest tax laws and regulations, effectively communicating updates to the team and clients.
6. Leading and mentoring junior staff, fostering a collaborative and positive workplace culture.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Taxation Executive / Senior Tax Strategy Manager role will possess:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; a Master's degree or CPA certification is highly preferred.
2. At least 5 years of relevant experience, with a strong emphasis on tax compliance, planning, and law.
3. Proven track record working with high net worth and ultra high net worth clients.
4. In-depth knowledge of tax regulations, with the ability to simplify complex tax concepts for clients.
5. Strong leadership capabilities, with a focus on mentoring and developing junior team members.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
