Brigade Energy Services LLC is seeking a highly skilled Workover Rig Crew Member to join our team in Caper, WY. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our workover rigs.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in rigging up and down, ensuring all equipment is properly secured and maintained.
- Perform elevated work associated with rigging up/down, including removing horse heads from pumping units.
- Responsible for all work related to servicing the well, including rod basket and tubing board operations.
- Operate tubing elevators for standing tubing in Derrick.
- Support picking up or laying down tubing and manually moving tubing between rack and work floor.
- Ensure work is carried out in compliance with company policies and procedures and according to safety regulations.
- May be required to work floors or derricks on the rig as needed.
- Perform PPE, fall protection, fall arrest system, harness, derrick, and hoisting component inspections as required.
- Pull and lay down rods, tubing, casing, and other equipment as needed.
- Participate in Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and tailgate meetings as scheduled.
- Responsible for keeping the work site, equipment, and tools clean and in good working order.
- Assist in the daily inspection and maintenance of equipment.
- Successfully perform elevator handling, hardline construction, and energy isolation procedures.
- Report all incidents as per company policies.
- Drive crew truck as needed (driver's license and clean driving record required).
- 1+ years of experience in oilfield and/or workover rig operations.
- Previous experience working with derricks and floors is preferred.
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships as part of a team.
- Willing and able to continuously increase knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Can work flexible schedules and overtime as required.
- Can perform in outdoor working environments in extreme temperatures and conditions.
- Must provide proof of right to work in the United States, have a clean driving record, and ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
