Position Overview: The Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior is seeking a dedicated Research Psychiatrist with a strong clinical interest in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Interventional Psychiatry. This role is integral to advancing neuromodulation research within a prestigious clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in the development and execution of research initiatives centered on clinically-relevant neuromodulation techniques.
  • Perform clinical assessments and deliver interventional psychiatry services, including TMS, to patients.
  • Contribute as a vital member of the COBRE Center for Neuromodulation, participating in collaborative team meetings and overseeing research procedures.
  • Support grant writing and fundraising efforts to enhance research capabilities.
  • Collaborate with fellow researchers both within the institution and at partner organizations.

Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree (M.D. or D.O.) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification or eligibility in psychiatry.
  • Completion of an accredited residency program in psychiatry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Genuine interest in neuromodulation and interventional psychiatry.
  • Experience in research or clinical applications of TMS is preferred.
