Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our hardware engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting multiple development programs and working closely with cross-functional teams to deploy new hardware at scale in our data centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Data Center Engineering, Site Services, and SRE teams to ensure successful hardware deployment and integration.
  • Design and develop system architecture to support new technologies and ensure seamless integration with existing environments.
  • Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware deployment and integration.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of CPU architecture, microarchitecture, and system design.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure Apple's hardware solutions remain competitive.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of CPU architecture, microarchitecture, and system design.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to deploy new hardware at scale.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lb (required for system installation).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of OS, Kernels, and related modules/drivers.
  • Firmware upgrade/downgrade processes of BIOS, BMC, and system boards.
  • Basic understanding of network infrastructure and scripting knowledge.
  • Experience working in data centers with understanding of hardware at scale.
