Job Description

TEL is seeking a highly skilled Semiconductor Equipment Developer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for the development and characterization of semiconductor equipment at customer sites.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and characterize semiconductor equipment at customer sites to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
  • Conduct chamber matching and startup activities to meet productivity specifications and demonstrate equipment maturity for high-volume manufacturing.
  • Setup, qualify, and evaluate HW items to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Create DOE and FTA to optimize and resolve productivity issues, either onsite or at the factory.
  • Collaborate with process engineers, field teams, and sales to prepare changes, additions, and modifications to facilitate customer adoption and improve quality of process equipment.
  • Ensure quality processing of all material processed through the machine, including internal process development activities and customer demonstrations.
  • May require international travel for demonstrations at the factory or process startup at customer sites.
  • Coordinate machine activities in the applications lab, including process development work, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide input for customer demo experimental design and act as a technical customer interface.
  • Provide input to the TEL factory on process and machine issues and work closely with the factory on solutions.
  • Perform simple maintenance and run wafers on the applications lab equipment as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of related experience; or Master's Degree with 6 years of related experience; or Associate's Degree with 12 years of related experience; or 16 years of experience in lieu of degree.
Physical Demands and Work Conditions
  • This role operates in an office setting and requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 35 pounds.
  • This position also requires 4 to 6 hours per day at a computer screen/keyboard.
