Job Overview

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a seasoned Import Compliance Lead to oversee our client's import operations. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with U.S. and international laws and regulations related to customs and trade.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all import laws and regulations.
  • Apply for and manage necessary certifications and licenses for import activities.
  • Conduct internal compliance audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Coordinate with customs brokers and freight forwarders to ensure smooth and compliant transactions.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in regulatory requirements and inform relevant departments.
  • Provide training to company personnel on compliance-related matters.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred; High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in import operations or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. and international trade compliance regulations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and ideally SAP and/or ERP systems.

Pay Details: $35.00 to $38.46 per hour
