Senior Geospatial Project Manager

At Diverse Lynx LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geospatial Project Manager to lead our geospatial projects using Agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will have 10 to 14 years of experience in geospatial technologies and project management.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing geospatial data, overseeing project timelines, and ensuring the quality of deliverables. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the planning and execution of geospatial projects using Agile methodologies.
  • Overseeing the collection, analysis, and interpretation of geospatial data to support project objectives.
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to team members on Agile practices and geospatial technologies.
  • Ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality geospatial products and services.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate geospatial data into broader project frameworks.
  • Developing and maintaining project documentation, including Agile artifacts such as user stories, sprint plans, and retrospectives.
  • Monitoring project progress and adjusting plans as necessary to meet deadlines and objectives.
  • Facilitating Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks associated with geospatial projects.
  • Communicating project status and updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Implementing best practices for geospatial data management and quality assurance.
  • Driving continuous improvement in geospatial processes and methodologies.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards in geospatial data handling.
