Nova Biomedical SMT Manufacturing Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled SMT Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Nova Biomedical's Waltham, MA facility. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for providing technical engineering support to our printed circuit board production process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement efficient manufacturing processes for surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole technology.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production operations and resolve technical issues.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including process instructions and quality control procedures.
  • Conduct regular equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and optimize production.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in SMT manufacturing or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of SMT and through-hole technology, including design and manufacturing principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
