Job Summary

The Nurse Manager, as a professional practitioner, assumes responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care. According to the established standards of nursing practice and standards of care, he/she demonstrates an ability to make clinical nursing judgements in an efficient and effective manner. The Nurse Manager demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care and consistently performs according to the standards of the profession.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and supervise the delivery of patient care services in accordance with established standards and policies.
  • Develop and implement effective nursing care plans to meet the needs of patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and services.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care services and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Recruit, train, and develop nursing staff to ensure optimal performance and patient care.
Requirements
  • Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience and one (1) year of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Current California RN License and BLS certification required.
  • MAB certification (90 days upon hire) preferred.
