Clinical Faculty Position

We are seeking a highly qualified Clinical Faculty member to join our team at Kansas Health Science University. As a key member of our clinical education team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive medical curriculum in obstetrics and women's health, as well as participating in the evaluation and assessment of student performance.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a pre-clinical and clinical curriculum in obstetrics and women's health, including the creation of syllabi and educational materials.
- Present common obstetrical and women's health presentations to students, and participate in small group discussions to facilitate learning.
- Collaborate with the clinical skills education team to develop and facilitate osteopathic clinical skills courses in obstetrics and women's health.
- Assist with the evaluation and assessment of student performance, including the development of exams and other assessment tools.
- Participate in the peer evaluation of department faculty, and assist with the interviewing and hiring of new faculty members.
- A DO or MD degree with appropriate experience in medical education.
- Current, unrestricted medical license.
- Current Board Certification in obstetrics and gynecology.
- Experience with innovative teaching methods, including team-based learning, flipped classroom, and problem-based learning.
- A strong record of success as an educator, and experience in managing personnel.
