**Job Summary**

DSJ Global is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Facilities Electrical Systems Engineer. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems within facilities, with a focus on medium and low voltage electrical systems, including substation distribution.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Design, analyze, and oversee the installation and maintenance of medium and low voltage electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and performance standards.
  • Manage substation distribution systems, ensuring efficient and safe operation of the facility's electrical infrastructure.
  • Conduct electrical load analysis and recommend upgrades or adjustments to meet facility power needs, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
  • Collaborate with external contractors and internal teams to ensure project success, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Perform troubleshooting and failure analysis on electrical systems to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain electrical maintenance programs, including preventive and predictive maintenance, to ensure optimal system performance and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Lead the installation of new electrical equipment, ensuring proper operation and integration with existing systems, and providing technical guidance to the maintenance team.
  • Support energy efficiency initiatives and recommend strategies to reduce energy consumption and costs, aligning with the company's sustainability goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of electrical systems, including schematics, one-line diagrams, and maintenance logs, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

**Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in facilities engineering with a focus on medium and low voltage electrical systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of substation distribution systems, electrical design principles, and power distribution.
  • Strong understanding of electrical safety codes and standards (e.g., NFPA 70E, NEC).
  • Experience with electrical load analysis, circuit design, and power systems control.
  • Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
