Job Summary

We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive patient care management for children of all ages in a collaborative practice model.

Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive histories and physical exams, identifying normal and abnormal findings
  • Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests
  • Develop pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical treatment plans
  • Serve as an educational resource for patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Facilitate patient referrals to other medical providers and agencies as needed
Requirements
  • Doctorate degree in Nursing Practice or Master's or Doctorate degree in Medical Science
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia or Multi-State through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure in the state of Georgia
  • Certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC), American Academy of Nurse Practitioner Certification Program (AANP), Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB), or National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
