About Our Internship Program:

This is an unpaid, remote educational internship designed to provide interns with an invaluable hands-on learning experience that cannot be replicated in a classroom setting. As an intern, you will work closely with a supervisor, allowing you to explore your field of interest, gain practical agency experience, develop new skills for your resume, and build essential career networks and mentorships.

Position Overview:

The internal marketing department at NVE serves as a vital engine for generating clients and leads through various initiatives, including content marketing (editorial, video, social), public relations (press releases, executive articles, thought leadership), events (panels, discussions), and other sales and marketing projects.

The ideal candidate will be a proficient copywriter with a strong focus on social media content creation and an acute attention to detail. This role will provide direct support to the Sales Marketing & Communications Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Strategy:
  • Assist in the management of a Content Calendar and consolidate marketing materials.
  • Research current trends in the media, branding, and agency sectors.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather marketing resources and support.
  • Help maintain internal and external project overviews and status updates.
  • Gain practical experience by overseeing assigned projects from Marketing leads.
  • Participate in departmental meetings.
  • Assist with meeting preparations, organize notes, and circulate follow-up emails as necessary.
Content Development:
  • Support the creation of NVE brand assets, copy, and other materials for marketing purposes.
  • Contribute to social media strategy and programming across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.).
  • Assist with publishing, image sourcing, and copywriting for various social media channels.
  • Help manage NVE-owned video content series (scheduling, production, internal communication, and organization).
  • Support the Marketing Coordinator in capturing content during on-site events.
Qualifications:
  • Preferred majors: Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • Ability to write effectively, persuasively, and professionally.
  • Highly organized and process-oriented.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Collaborative yet confident in proposing and owning new ideas.
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced work environment and capable of meeting tight deadlines.
  • Possess a positive outlook and contagious optimism.
  • Fascinated by culture, subcultures, and the dynamics that influence them.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment and effective teamwork.
  • Interest in marketing, advertising, and events.
  • Previous agency or start-up experience is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Box, G-suite, and others.
Requirements:
  • Must be currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior in a college/university.
  • Must have access to a personal laptop/computer.
  • Availability to work remotely at least 3 days a week or 20 hours within standard business hours.
Location: NVE operates as a hybrid company with multiple hub locations. The ideal candidate should be adaptable to remote work arrangements.
