The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) is a leading transportation system in the United States, serving a vast network of fixed route services. We are seeking a skilled Communication Systems Technician to join our team in the EM&C MOW/Communications and Signals department.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced technician to maintain and repair our radio frequency systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in communication systems, including radio frequency systems, and experience with troubleshooting and repairing complex equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair communication equipment, including radio frequency systems, telephone cables, and baseband systems.
- Test and adjust communication systems to ensure proper operation.
- Perform preventive maintenance on communication equipment and systems.
- Collaborate with other technicians to resolve complex communication system issues.

Requirements

- 2 years of experience in communication systems, including radio frequency systems.
- Strong knowledge of communication systems, including radio frequency systems, telephone cables, and baseband systems.
- Ability to read and analyze prints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Valid class 1 PA driver's license or equivalent.
