Position Overview
The Transportation Specialist is responsible for safely conveying guests to and from designated locations utilizing the company vehicle. This role involves meticulous documentation of all trips before departure and upon completion. The specialist is also tasked with parking the vehicle in the assigned area when not in operation, as well as conducting thorough inspections of the vehicle for cleanliness and any potential damage.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular checks on tire pressure and fluid levels, ensuring the vehicle is adequately fueled.
- Promptly inform relevant personnel regarding any maintenance requirements for the vehicle.
- Document all incidents involving the vehicle, including damages and accidents, and prepare reports for management review.
Essential Duties
- Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures; maintain a professional appearance and uphold confidentiality of sensitive information; safeguard company resources.
- Greet and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards; proactively address service needs; assist guests with disabilities; express gratitude to guests sincerely.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues using clear and professional language; share information through electronic communication tools.
- Foster and maintain positive relationships with team members.
- Meet quality assurance expectations and standards consistently.
- Engage in physical activities such as reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, and lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds; maintain mobility through standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.
- Perform additional reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisors.
- Exhibit a strong commitment to customer service with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Availability for a flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
