Department Overview
This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the expanding Rave Mobile Safety software division within Motorola Solutions.

The selected candidate will serve as a financial analyst, focusing on the Rave Mobile Safety portfolio from a Go-To-Market (GTM) finance perspective.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Influence the Rave GTM strategy through data analytics.
  • Support the Orders reporting and forecasting process in collaboration with sales teams, channel leads, and sales operations.
  • Conduct business case modeling for GTM initiatives and monitor performance against established business cases.
  • Manage expenses, perform variance analysis, and provide insights for leadership to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Assist in the creation of financial dashboards and reporting on key performance indicators using precise and reliable data.
  • Contribute to quarterly and annual budget forecasting cycles, collaborating with department managers to gather inputs and conduct analytical reviews.
  • Ensure data integrity and reconciliation with financial systems.
  • Support financial modeling for various ad hoc scenarios.
  • Understand the interplay between Orders, Backlog, and Revenue, ensuring accurate and timely revenue recognition.
  • Proactively implement new procedures to enhance efficiency, automation, and integration of diverse systems.

This position is vital in supporting the Rave Mobile Safety business as the organization evolves.

This opportunity is ideal for a driven individual eager to establish and refine processes that effectively partner with business teams and drive impactful results.

Additional Skills:
Strong analytical and organizational abilities; a keen interest in developing innovative methods and processes.
Experience with data flow automation and visualization tools is preferred.
Demonstrated good judgment, adaptability, and comfort in a fast-paced environment with time constraints across a matrix organization.
Proficient in systems such as Tableau, Salesforce, Oracle, MS Office/Google Suite; familiarity with SmartView and Alteryx is advantageous.

Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or FP&A roles.
