Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Life Enrichment Assistant to join our team at North Central Health Care. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing structured activities and programs that enhance the quality of life for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement person-centered activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
  • Collaborate with the activity calendar to ensure timely and engaging programming.
  • Assist in planning, preparing, and executing large groups, small groups, and one-on-one activities that promote socialization, cognitive stimulation, and emotional well-being.
  • Transport and direct residents to various activities, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to residents participating in projects and activities.
  • Adapt activities to meet the unique needs and abilities of each resident.
  • Assist residents on community outings, promoting socialization and exploration.
  • Follow dietary orders and assist with CNA duties as needed, ensuring the highest level of care and support.
Requirements
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate with the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry.
  • One year of experience in a social work or life enrichment program, or with geriatric residents.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a respectful and helpful demeanor in all interactions.
  • Reliable attendance and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring seamless execution of activities and programs.
