Job Summary

Regal Rexnord Corp is seeking a highly skilled Site Continuous Improvement Leader to drive operational excellence and growth-focused operations strategy for our New Berlin, WI location.

This is a critical role that requires a strong leader to drive SQDC (safety, quality, delivery, cost-competitiveness) and provide hands-on leadership to a cross-functional team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Partner with EHS manager to maintain a safe work environment and drive focus on leading environmental health and safety metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop a vision for the site's future operational/growth needs and implement a plan to achieve those outcomes.
  • Provide subject matter expertise across the organization by partnering with functional, business, and site leaders to assess current processes and identify process/performance gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Lead and implement process improvement across the value stream to drive SQDCG measures utilizing lean concepts.
  • Manage a robust Regal Business System review process for selecting, scoping, and prioritizing improvement initiatives.
  • Recognized as a leader with the ability to identify, diagnose, and solve even the most complex business problems utilizing a fact-based, team-oriented, and structured approach.
  • Coach, mentor, and train site/functional members on continuous improvement methods based on subject matter expertise.
  • Drive and exemplify a positive attitude in the face of adversity to solve problems and align a team around effective problem-solving.
  • Skilled and experienced in decomposing a strategic vision into actionable strategies and tactics.
  • Serve as a vital resource and coach for guiding process improvement and Regal Business System deployment across the business.
  • Effectively engage, coach, and communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Energize and engage the organization to progress in long-term improvement actions while meeting today's business performance needs.
  • Balance strategy and tactics, helping the organization evolve and achieve its growth ambitions.
  • Ability to work as a member of the leadership team to develop and communicate a future vision for the business.
  • Analyze and assess business metrics (SQDCG and financials) and processes across the business to develop impactful improvement strategies.
  • Ability to accurately assess key business metrics, trends, and situations from a 'general manager's' point of view.
  • Identify, coach, and engage talent across the business to leverage RBS Continuous Improvement tools and methodologies to support their professional advancement and improve the business's operational performance.
  • Optimize the talent within the organizational structure and foster an environment to promote individual and team growth.
  • Train, mentor, and build continuous improvement skill and philosophies across the organization with key stakeholders.

  • Develop a high-performance team by engaging, influencing, and training team members.

Professional Experience/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 5-10 years related work experience.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • Proven successful applications of multiple CI tools: 80/20, Value Stream Mapping, 6S, Flow, Standard Work, Visual Management, & Problem Solving.
  • Ability to lead and teach a site with a bias for action and a say-do mindset.
  • Critical thinking skills to properly identify problem areas and potential solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Lean Deployment Experience.
  • Industrial Industry experience.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Improvement/RBS tools.
