We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Swim Instructor and Lifeguard at Goldfish Swim School. As a Swim Instructor and Lifeguard, you will be responsible for providing a safe and engaging learning environment for our students, while also ensuring the overall safety of our pool area.
Key Responsibilities- Swim Instruction: Teach swimming lessons to students of all ages and skill levels, using our proven curriculum and teaching methods.
- Lifeguarding: Provide lifeguard supervision during lessons and swim programs, responding to emergencies and ensuring the safety of all pool users.
- Pool Maintenance: Assist with pool maintenance and cleaning, ensuring the pool area is safe and clean for students and staff.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff, providing clear instructions and feedback.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in education, exercise science, or related field preferred.
- Certifications: Current lifeguard certification (e.g. Red Cross, YMCA) and CPR/AED certification required.
- Experience: Previous experience as a swim instructor or lifeguard preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with children and adults of all ages and skill levels.
- Competitive Pay: $15.00 per hour.
