Job OpportunityShalom Austin is seeking a dedicated and experienced Year-Round Swim Coach to join our team

As a Swim Coach, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Coach with duties such as writing practices, setting goals with team members, and maintaining team records. You will also be expected to exhibit patience, warmth, enthusiasm, and effective communication skills with all participants.

Requirements:
  • At least 16 years old.
  • Current CPR/AED/First Aid Pediatric and Adults certification or acquired within 60 days of employment. Current American Red Cross Lifeguard certification, or equivalent, may be provided instead.
  • Adhere to our Mission, Core Values, and all HR policies and procedures.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • CPR/AED/First Aid Certified w/ Safety Training for Swim Coaches (or valid Lifeguard certification)
  • Possess knowledge of the technical and training aspects of competitive swimming with proven record of excellent swimmer progression.
  • Previous aquatics or recreational facility experience.
