Job Title: NP Residency Clinical Director

Dirne Health Center, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced NP Residency Clinical Director to oversee the administration, curriculum, and day-to-day operations of our Nurse Practitioner (NP) Residency Program.

About the Role:

The NP Residency Clinical Director will be responsible for strategic planning, program development, faculty supervision, and ensuring the highest standards of clinical education and training for NP residents. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve program goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the NP Residency Program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the residency program, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Design, develop, and continuously improve the curriculum to meet the educational needs of NP residents.
  • Recruit, hire, and mentor preceptors, providing ongoing professional development opportunities.
  • Oversee the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of NP residents, monitoring and evaluating resident performance.
  • Foster a collaborative learning environment among residents and clinical staff, collaborating with operations and clinic directors to minimize disruptions to existing services.
  • Implement quality improvement initiatives within the residency program, conducting regular program evaluations and using feedback to make necessary improvements.
Requirements:
  • Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) in the State of Idaho and State of Idaho RN Licensure or ability to receive licensure required.
  • Active Idaho license, Controlled Substance License, and DEA License.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as an independent primary care provider in an FQHC setting preferred.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or educational role within a healthcare setting.
  • Experience with curriculum development and program management preferred.
