About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Medical Manager to join our team at the ASPCA's Community Veterinary Clinic. As a key member of our medical team, you will be responsible for leading our veterinary technicians and ensuring the highest level of care for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of veterinary technicians in providing high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective clinic operations
  • Collaborate with veterinarians and other medical staff to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ASPCA policies
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited veterinary science technology program
  • Current New York State Veterinary Technician License
  • Minimum two years of experience as an LVT in small animal medicine and surgery
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
