Nocturnist Physician Assistant and Nurse Practitioner Opening in Dallas

Job Overview:
We are seeking experienced physician assistants and nurse practitioners to work full-time as nocturnists, covering 7pm-7am shifts. As a nocturnist, you will be responsible for assisting hospitalists with inpatient evaluations, history and physical examinations, and follow-up visits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist hospitalists with inpatient evaluations, H&Ps, and follow-up visits
- Initiate appropriate treatment and testing for medical illnesses
- Complete history and physical examinations on all new admissions
- Round on rehabilitation patients, including long-term acute care patients
- Document using our electronic medical record system
- Participate in continuous quality improvement processes
Requirements:
- Active listening, critical thinking, reading comprehension, effective communication, time management, judgment, and decision-making skills
- Texas licensure; certified physician assistant or nurse practitioner
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a physician assistant or nurse practitioner in an ICU or CVICU setting
Compensation and Benefits:
