We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) in the Gynecology department. As a CNC, you will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality patient care and coordination of all functions in the unit during your designated shift.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to optimize efficient throughput and exceptional patient-centered care.
  • Participate in ongoing assessments of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, collaborating with management team members.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to foster an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
  • Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
  • Engage in efforts to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
  • Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
  • Assist with staff scheduling and manage practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
  • Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Gynecology or related specialty in a hospital setting.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required.
  • Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Texas or Compact Licensure.
