Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Crisis Manager to join our team at the Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network. As a key member of our crisis care center, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.

About the Role:

This is a 12-hour shift position that requires flexibility and teamwork. Our ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and have experience working with individuals experiencing mental health crises.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Is a registered nurse with a valid State of Michigan clinical licensure (RN)
  • Has at least one year of full-time paid experience working in a behavioral health setting
  • Displays excellent assessment and documentation skills
  • Can maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
  • Has the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide individualized nursing care to patients experiencing mental health crises
  2. Assess patients' conditions, develop treatment plans, and coordinate care with medical teams
  3. Document patient progress, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes
  4. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
