Senior IT Engineer 1, BRP Job Description

Fujifilm is seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Engineer 1, BRP to join our global IT team. This role is a key part of our organization, responsible for driving collaboration with business units to ensure IT aligns with local site goals.

About the Role

• Collaborate with site leadership, global IT functional areas, and project management to ensure seamless alignment with business needs and priorities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and initiate solutions for both global IT and site leadership.
• Manage local IT projects, as assigned, and provide local SLT updates on project status and escalations.
• Coordinate project resources with local IT team to allocate full-time employee (FTE) or contractor technical resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and work with local IT leadership to develop project schedules to support project milestones.
• Manage the relationship between Fujifilm business functions and global IT.
• Advise decision makers by providing insightful data visualizations and reporting to drive impactful business decisions.
• Contribute to IT strategy and monitoring of technical trends that impact service delivery.
• Serve as escalation point with global IT organization functions to remediate incidents quickly and restore service to minimize business disruptions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, business administration, or related field, with 5 years of experience in global IT, senior IT engineer, or related role.
• Experience in drug substance manufacturing (DSM), drug product (DP), and/or finished goods manufacturing (FGM).
• Experience in system or technology analysis.
• Effective communication, both written and verbal.
• Collaborative attitude working with global peers and cross-functional teams toward company and department goals.

Preferred Requirements

• Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, business administration, or related field, with 3 years of experience in global IT, senior IT engineer, or related role.
• Experience working within a global IT team and associated processes.
• Certifications related to agile, project management professional (PMI PMP), lean, or six sigma.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in an environment which may necessitate respiratory protection.
• Ability to work in mechanical/production spaces that may require hearing protection and enrollment in a hearing conservation program.
• Ability to work in an environment operating a motor vehicle or powered industrial truck.
• Ability to discern audible cues.
• Ability to inspect or perform a task with 20/20 corrected vision, visual acuity, including distinguishing color.
• Ability to ascend or descend ladders, scaffolding, ramps, etc.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to conduct activities using repetitive motions that include writs, hands and/or fingers.
• Ability to operate machinery and/or power tools.
• Ability to conduct work that includes moving objects up to X pounds.
• Ability to bend, push or pull, reach to retrieve materials from 18" to 60" in height, and use twisting motions.
