QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE SMALL ENGINE MECHANIC ROLE
We are looking for candidates who possess a valid driver's license and are adept at using various tools and diagnostic equipment. The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and fuel systems in small engines
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team

YOUR ROLE AS A SMALL ENGINE MECHANIC
Join our team at Groundhog Landscaping and enjoy a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. This schedule allows for regular hours and weekends off to unwind and recharge.
As our Small Engine Mechanic, your responsibilities will include maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing equipment such as hydro mowers, trimmers, backpack blowers, walk-behind blowers, chainsaws, edgers, material spreaders, snowplows, and other related machinery. You will accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, implementing effective solutions to ensure optimal equipment performance. Throughout your work, you will maintain meticulous records of all maintenance and repair activities, ensuring everything is documented accurately. Your strong organizational skills will also be essential in managing the inventory of parts and supplies, ensuring that everything is well-stocked and ready for repairs. Safety will be a top priority as you ensure all equipment meets regulatory and company standards, recognizing that your contributions are vital to the smooth operation of the team.
