Job Description:
The Financial Project Coordinator will play a critical role in the success of our projects, working closely with project managers, estimators, and other departments to ensure seamless project execution. This role will involve:
  • Managing project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including invoices, payments, and accounts payable.
  • Preparing and reviewing project budgets, forecasts, and financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborating with project managers and estimators to develop and implement cost-saving strategies.
  • Assisting with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage all aspects of project accounting, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Monitor project costs, commitments, and cash flow to identify potential issues and make recommendations for improvement.
- Prepare and review project budgets, forecasts, and financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with project managers and estimators to develop and implement cost-saving strategies.
- Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in project accounting, with a strong background in construction accounting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and construction accounting software.

Salary Estimate: $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience.
