Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Marketing and Events Specialist to spearhead our community engagement and event planning efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic partnerships and managing both in-person and virtual events that elevate our brand and increase attendee engagement.

This role requires close collaboration with internal teams, community stakeholders, and potential clients to deliver top-notch events aligned with our firm's marketing goals. We are looking for someone with exceptional communication skills, creativity, attention to detail, and expertise in local community engagement to drive our event marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage strategic relationships with community partners to drive event success.
  • Lead the coordination and execution of live and virtual events that meet our marketing objectives.
  • Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to optimize event promotion and maximize attendance.
  • Align events with our overall marketing strategy for stronger brand positioning and community outreach.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a related marketing or event planning field or completed a B.A. degree in Marketing, Communications, or other related field.
  • Proven work experience in a marketing role, preferably in the Real Estate, Education, Law, or similar field event space.
  • Proven experience working with managers to set objective Key Performance Indicator targets, planning toward achieving metrics, working the plan with respect to targets, tracking progress, meeting targets and improving performance consistently for months at a time.
  • Valid North Carolina Driver's license.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain flexible with changing directions and deadlines.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and people skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, including grammar and spelling.
  • Goal-oriented and self-motivated.
