We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ER Admissions Supervisor to join our team at Universal Health Services. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the coordination, supervision, and scheduling of registration staff functions across multiple areas, including the Emergency Department and Revenue Cycle practices.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure accurate registration data and proper patient experience protocols.
- Monitor staff interaction with patients and peers, and ensure compliance with co-pay collections and goals.
- Clear issues in registration and billing reports, and manage the overall training and coordination of work within the department.
- Collaborate with the department manager to perform job candidate interviews and hire new employees.
- Assist in taking call for staffing needs or process issues.
- Demonstrate Service Excellence at all times and maintain a high awareness of patient satisfaction and teamwork.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior supervisory experience in ER Admissions Department.
- 2-year degree preferred.
- Prior 3rd party billing/code experience.
- 2 years registration experience required in Supervisory or Management experience in acute setting.
- Prior experience collecting co-pays.
- Experienced supervisor in working with Patient registration.
- Cerner Millennium Experience preferred.
