Under direct supervision, this position is responsible for documenting patient data, implementing recommendations, and managing various administrative responsibilities to ensure high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:


1. Collaborates with healthcare providers to facilitate patient care by preparing examination areas, recording vital signs, documenting medical histories, and updating patient files.

2. Processes directives from healthcare professionals, including medication prescriptions, referrals, and diagnostic assessments, ensuring precision and prompt execution.

3. Educates and supports patients by clarifying treatment protocols, medications, and post-treatment instructions, while addressing any inquiries or concerns.

4. Manages administrative duties such as scheduling patient appointments, maintaining medical documentation, overseeing medical supplies, and assisting with billing and insurance claims.

5. Aids medical staff during consultations and clinic visits, providing essential patient history information to optimize treatment.

6. Performs additional tasks as required.



Qualifications:

EDUCATION: Required: High School Diploma or equivalent and Diploma in Practical Nursing.

EXPERIENCE:

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Required: Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license: Successful completion of NC Nursing Boards for LPN and maintenance of a current and unrestricted LPN License.
BLS (CPR) certification from American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
