JOB TITLE: Production Technician

LOCATION: Amelia, Ohio

REPORTS TO: Plant Manager

SHIFT: 4/4 Night Shift

Position Responsibilities

  • Operate production machinery to create high-quality pigment dispersions in line with established operating procedures.
  • Work within a designated area to produce support materials essential for the final products.
  • Assemble boxes, affix labels, and manage the movement of material skids using material handling equipment.
  • Regularly clean floors, tanks, and machinery to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth information flow for effective process management.
  • Follow detailed work instructions to meet customer specifications.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and complete necessary safety training.
  • Participate in monthly Dupont training modules.
  • Complete cybersecurity training and any other mandatory company training.
  • Promptly report any unsafe conditions or actions to management.
  • Communicate essential information throughout all stages of production, including interactions with shipping and receiving, quality control, maintenance, and human resources when necessary.
  • Utilize both verbal and written communication effectively.
  • Operate material handling equipment, including hoists and both sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
  • Must be capable of lifting 55 lbs repeatedly.
  • Meet all outlined requirements for language, reasoning, mathematical, and physical skills.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent.
  • Associate's degree is a plus.

Certifications and Training

  • Maintain certification for operation of all three types of plant industrial trucks and elevated platforms.
  • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possess basic proficiency in MS Office software and fundamental math skills.
